concept and comments: I took the pictures of architecture on the first trip to
my country after 15 years, and two years later when I found
out my mother had passed away I started to cut up all the
photographs I had and created a new body of work in a few
days. I worked feverishly.
Photography is second nature. I have tons of pictures
unorganized. I always want to document. I kept
documenting my artworks from the
beginning. Not just mine but my son's art since
he could make a few lines. All the pictures you see in the
collections I photographed. The background
of this montage is the Santa Monica beach at dawn.
