concept and comments: Humanity is a damaged design because we are causing
so much pain and suffering to each other knowingly and
unknowingly.
We don't even know how much others are suffering
because of our actions. We cannot even feel the
pain of the ones we love. The original picture is a
black and white print, on two sheets of paper.
On the top sheet, the figure looks like
a crying child floating on a black cross.
On the bottom sheet the image consists of a male and a
female figure apart and turning away from each other.
On this picture which is a detail, I used digital effects.
The blue shape becomes a cross, and at this point,
it all came together to express my idea of an innocent,
lost, and confused child crucified by his parents---the
crying child who is a victim of divorce.
I know, I was that child once. Nobody should go through
that emotional holocaust which stays
with you forever and ever.
